An initiative of the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust set up to uplift the influence children and youth have over decisions that affect them by working to improve young people's involvement in local and national projects that are about young peoples right to participate as citizens. The site provides a varying array of publications including a report examining the different ways in which involving young people in decision making could be measured and evaluated. This site may provide our youth in Canada a different perspective on the way things work in Canada as compared to the UK.

They inspire, celebrate, and support the ability of young people to change the world. You can find everything from celebrity involvement in change to monthly challenges for youth to take on. Some common attractions are the Brick awards and how to build a magazine. The site has recently added a Do Something Canada eh! Section, involving youth from Canada.
The International Youth Foundation (IYF) is working in more than 70 countries and territories to improve the conditions and prospects for young people where they live, learn, work and play. Established in 1990 to bring worldwide resources to young people in need, IYF works with hundreds of companies, foundations, and civil society organizations to strengthen and "scale up" existing programs that are making a positive and lasting difference in young lives.
